Our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design and original photographs on News7t belong to News7t or its contributors. You may quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link back to the story. You may not copy whole stories, republish them, or use them to train or fill other websites without our written permission.

If you believe we have used your work without permission

We respect the rights of creators. If something on this website infringes your copyright (for example a photograph or an extract of your text), send us a notice through the contact form with the subject “Copyright” and include:

  1. your name and a way to contact you;
  2. the link (URL) of the page, and a description or link of the original work;
  3. a statement that you are the owner, or are authorised to act for the owner;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.

What happens next

We review each notice promptly. If it is valid we remove or correct the material, or add a credit if that resolves the matter, and we tell you what we did. Repeat infringers are not welcome on the site. We may share a notice with the person who supplied the material so that they can respond.

False notices

Please send a notice only if you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them. Knowingly false claims can have legal consequences.
