Exams and the Selection Procedure
There will be two steps in the Junior Associates selection process:
Preliminary Exam: This test is planned for January 2025 and will be administered online. Tests will be given to candidates in a number of subjects, including general awareness, quantitative aptitude, English language proficiency, and reasoning.
Main Exam: Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be invited to the main exam, which is anticipated to happen in February 2025. The specific knowledge needed for the Junior Associate position will be the main emphasis of this test.
Candidates must take a Local Language Proficiency Test in addition to the aforementioned tests. The candidate’s proficiency in Ladakh UT’s native languages, including Urdu, Ladakhi, and Bhoti (Bodhi), will be evaluated through this test.
The local language exam will take place before to the final appointment, but following the main exam. Applicants will not receive a job offer if they fail this test.
Candidates will be excused from this language competence test, though, if they can present a Class 10 or 12 grade report or certificate attesting to their study of the designated local language.
Age Limitations and Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill the following age requirements in order to be considered for the Junior Associate position:
As of April 1, 2024, they must be at least 20 years old and no older than 28.
The applicant must have been born on or between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2004.
